Cookie Policy
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer when you access certain websites. Cookies enable a website, amongst other things, to store and retrieve information about a user’s or their device’s browsing habits and, depending on the information they contain and how the device is used, they can be used to recognise the user.
Cookies are essential for the functioning of the internet, as they offer countless advantages in the provision of interactive services and facilitate navigation and usability on our website.
What types of cookies do we use?
In accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), Syncronizados provides information on the cookies used on our website:
- Depending on the owner of the cookie:
- First-party: These are cookies sent to the user’s device from a server or domain managed by Syncronizados and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party cookies: These are cookies sent to the user’s device from a server or domain not managed or controlled by Syncronizados.
- Depending on their purpose:
- Technical cookies: These enable the user to navigate the website correctly and to use the various options or services it may contain.
- Analytics cookies: These may be used to measure and analyse user behaviour with the aim of improving the user’s experience on the website. They enable the measurement, tracking and study of user activity in order to incorporate improvements to Syncronizados’ websites, applications and platforms.
- Based on duration:
- Session cookies: These cookies are set whilst the user is browsing the website. These session cookies store information about the user’s browsing activity and remain active until the user leaves the website and closes their browser.
- Persistent cookies: These are cookies that enable the website to remember the information and settings that the user has provided or configured in previous sessions. This cookie is stored on the device and may be accessed and processed for the period defined by the data controller, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
The tool we use to collect and analyse browsing information is: Google Analytics.
