If you own a Volkswagen T3 Syncro, you’ll know how difficult it is to find genuine spare parts that maintain the factory finish without compromising durability on your off-road adventures. These centre hub caps have been designed to be an exact replica of the original part (part number 251 601 151 C), offering a durable, cost-effective and DIY-inspired alternative for the community.
Key benefits:
-
Authentic look: The classic Volkswagen logo is laser-engraved with high precision, guaranteeing a clean, permanent finish that won’t peel off when exposed to water or mud.
-
Superior durability: Manufactured using 3D printing in PETG, a material with excellent resistance to impact and UV rays. They do not crack or become brittle.
-
Hub protection: They keep the centre of the wheel protected from dirt, mud and moisture on your mountain or off-road routes.
Technical details and compatibility:
-
Part number: 251 601 151 C (Exact replica of the hub cap for the VW T3 Syncro 16″).
-
Tested compatibility: Originally designed for the 16″ Syncro wheels. They are also compatible with most original 14″ Syncro wheels.
-
Fitting restrictions:
-
In principle, not suitable for the front axle of 2WD models (due to the size of the bearing grease plug). However, they might work with spacers.
-
Not suitable for Mefro wheels (models 43220 106 16″ and 43130 104 15″), as these rims use 12 mm spherical fasteners instead of the original 14 mm bolts.
-
Syncronizados installation tip: By design, the caps fit very snugly under the wheel nuts/bolts to prevent them from getting lost whilst on the road. To make fitting easier and avoid straining the material, we recommend removing just one wheel bolt, fitting the cap’s tab into position, and then retightening the bolt securely.
